Head uut aastat, armsad lugejad!
On möödunud täpselt 216 päeva eelmisest postitusest ja mul ei ole enam mitte ühtegi vabandust. Nägin eile oma endise klassiõe Facebooki seinal postitust, kus kutsus kõiki üles tegema fotoväljakutset. Viimati sain sama klassiõe algatusel teha seda 2016. aastal ja nüüd mõtlesin, et miks mitte? Praegusel veidral ajal on positiivsed mõtted vägagi teretulnud seega here I go again! Lisan siia ka lingi, kust võib leida grupi ning äkki on kellegil veel soovi meiega liituda.
Siiani on minul läinud hästi. Olen leidnud endale maailma parima töökoha graafilise disainerina ja kolisin lõpuks ometi vanemate juurest välja. Loodan, et ka teil läheb hästi.

Happy new years, my dear readers! 
It's been exactly 216 days since my last blog post and I have no more excuses. Yesterday I saw a post on my ex-classmate's Facebook wall asking everyone to join her in taking a photo challenge. The last time I did this was on the initiative of the same classmate in 2016 and now I wondered why not? In this strange time, some positive thoughts are very welcomed so here I go again! I'm also adding a link, where you can find the group in case you'd like to join us. Sadly only in estonian. If you want, I can translate this challenge for you. So far, I've been doing well. I've found myself the best job in the world as a graphic designer and finally moved out of my parents house. Hope you're doing well.

03-13.04

Käisin 19ndal märtsil klassiga botaanikaaias, et maalimiseks inspiratsiooni saada. Mina sattusin muidugi vaimustusse sellest kui imeline see koht tegelikult on. Postitus selle kohta leiab siit ja siit. Pärast botaanikaaia külastamist läks aga aeg edasi ja antud töö tegemiseks aega ei jätkunudki. Nüüd 3ndal aprillil võtsin end kätte ja alustasin sellega. Aega läks täpselt 134 päeva ja võib öelda, et jäin rahule tulemusega. Siin on pildid kuidas ja millega tegin. Miskipärast kui nüüd meenutada, siis lõpp-tulemus pildile ei jäänudki, ohjah.

On March 19th I went to the botanical garden with my classmates, to get inspiration to paint. Of course I got really excited about how wonderful that place is. Blogpost can be found here and here. After the visit I didn't have any time to begin painting. Now on the 3rd of April I finally started doing the painting. It took me exactly 134 days and I can say I'm satisfied with the result. Here are pictures of how and with what I did. For some reason I didn't take a picture of the finished work, oh well.

DAY 2 - View from your window

Jaanuaris oli lumi ilusasti maas ja vaade minu ühikatoast oli super. 

In January, there was a great snowy view from my dorm room.

Siiski ei kestnud lumi väga kaua ning pidin tänaseks mõtlema uutele võimalustele. Lõpuks leidsin koha, kust õhtuti avaneb maagiline vaade teisele ühiselamule.

However, snow didn't last very long and I had to rethink my options for today. Finally found a place, where at night you could see a magical view at the second dormitory.

DAY 1 - You

Ja ongi käes esimene veebruar, mis tähendab seda, et selle kuu fotoväljakutse on alanud. Esiteks seoses eelmise postitusega mainin, et tegemist on 29-päevase väljakutsega, mitte 30 ... tundub, et ma ei oska lugeda :) Teiseks, polnud mul õrna aimu kuidas midagi teen, sest otsustasin asju mitte ette planeerida. Mõtlesin lihtsalt järgida esimest mõtet, mis pähe tuleb ja siin on tulemused:

And it's the first of February, which means that the photo challenge has begun. Firstly, regards to pervious blog post, it turns out that photo challenge lasts only 29 days, not 30 ... it seems I can't read :) Secondly, I had no idea how to do anything, because I decided not to plan things in advance. I just thought to follow the first idea that comes to mind and here are the results:

February Photo Challenge

Mul oli eelmise aasta aprilikuus plaanis teha üks korralik 30-päevane fotoväljakutse. Miskipärast läks elu kiireks või olin ise laisk, aga tegemata see jäigi. Nüüd hiljuti pakkus mu klassiõde välja uue 30-päevase fotoväljakutse. Tema on seda oma sõpradega juba paar korda teinud ja tulemused meeldisid kõigile. Antud väljakutses on üks eriline reegel - alati ei pea teemat lahendama mitte pildina, vaid sobivad ka šketsid ja muud kujundamised. See teeb asja eriti huvitavaks niiet ei pidanudki väga palju mõtlema enne kui ütlesin jah. Nüüd leiab terve veebruarikuu siit iga päev uue killukese väljakutsest. Loodetavasti saan ilusasti hakkama, õpin midagi uut ja oleks tore vahelduseks näha ka muid pilte peale looduse ja lillede :)

Last year in April I made plans to do a proper photo challenge. Somehow either I got extremely busy or was just lazy, the challenge didn't happen. Now my classmate offered a new 30-day photo challenge. Namely she and her friends have already done it before and everyone liked the results. The challenge has a special rule - you don't always have to resolve the topic as a picture, but you can also do it as sketches or/and designs. That makes things really interesting so I didn't think much before saying yes. Now every day of the february we can find a new piece of the challenge. Hopefully I can do it, learn something new and it would be nice to see other pictures than of nature and flowers.

Vabandused ette ära, et pikk paus sisse tulnud on. See-eest on tänane positus super pikk. Kool ja töö otsimine röövivad enamuse mu vabast ajast niiet ei olegi jõudnud pildistama minna. Siiski eile suutsime toakaaslasega linna peale jalutama minna ja mõned pildid siiski saime. Tekib selline tunne, et mida rohkem siin elada ja ringi seigelda, seda rohkem hakkan linna armastama. Hämmastav :)

Apologies in advance for the longer break. For that here's a super long blog post. School and looking for a job has kidnapped majority of my free time, so I haven't really taken any photos since I got here. However, yesterday me & my roommate were able to go for a walk aaand got some pictures to show you. I have this feeling that the more I live and spend time here, the more I grow to love this city. Amazing :)

Olen olnud üsna hõivatud tüdruk kooliplaanide ja uude linna kolimisega, seega pole konkreetset aega pildistamiseks. Mõtteid siiski enne suve lõppu on niiet jääme ootama. Siin on aga mõned kolme aasta tagused must-valged pildid. Nagu ikka on teemaks lilled ja putukad. Pildid on esmalt ära tuunitud ja siis lihtsalt värvid eemaldatud.

I've been pretty busy with school plans and moving into a new city, so there's really no time for me taking pictures. However, new thoughts have come to mind that need doing so we'll see about that. Meanwhile here's some pictures I took roughly 3 years ago. As always, the theme is flowers and insects. I've done some photo editing first and then removed the colors.

Bright lights

Tavaliselt pean pikemaid vahesid oma postitustel, aga seekord lihtsalt pidin tegema uue postituse. Tellisin hiljuti oma kaamerale uue objektiivi ja täna sain selle lõpuks ometi kätte. Muidugi oli vaja kohe proovipilte teha ning siin on väike kogus nendest, mida täna tegin. Ei jõua ära oodata millal uue objektiiviga saan loodusesse minna. Hiljem annan ka väikse ülevaate antud objektiivist. Pildi töötlemistega aitas kaasa mu sõbranna Ivonna.

Usually I don’t post so often in this blog, but this time I just had to. Recently I ordered new lens for my camera and today I finally received it. Of course it was necessary to try and take some photos and here’s a small amount of what I did today. I cannot wait when I have more time to go outside with the new lens. Later I will be giving a little overview of the lens. My friend Ivonna helped me with photo editing.
